바쁘다 바빠, 그래도 계속 만들고 있습니다
요즘 정말 엄청나게 바빴어요. 하루가 순식간에 지나가 버리는 그런 바쁨이죠.
그래도 그 와중에 여러 프로젝트들을 조금씩 진행하고 있습니다. 눈에 띄지 않게 뒤에서 꾸준히요.
보물찾기 프로젝트 구상 중
요즘 가장 큰 프로젝트는 제 홈페이지 첫 페이지에 있는 퍼즐 프로젝트입니다.
홍보용 자료를 만들고, 지도도 구상하면서 조금씩 틀을 잡아가고 있어요.
그리고 이름도 바꾸기로 했습니다. 대체 현실 게임(Alternative Reality Game) 대신 이제는 그냥 보물찾기(Treasure Hunt) 라고 부르려고요.
사람들에게 설명하기도 훨씬 쉽고, 느낌도 딱 맞습니다. 결국 누가 보물찾기를 싫어하겠어요?
에든과 함께한 그림
요즘은 시각 예술 작업물을 거의 안 올렸지만, 얼마 전 조카 에든과 함께 그림을 하나 완성했습니다.
시작은 단순한 핑거 페인팅이었어요 — 손가락으로 막 찍어가며 만든 자유로운 낙서였죠.
그런데 신기하게도, 그게 자연스럽게 정원(garden) 으로 발전했어요. 이름이 에든(Eden)인데, 딱 어울리죠 🌱
과정 전부를 사진으로 기록해 두었고, 완성까지의 여정을 오늘 중으로 올릴 예정입니다.
퇴비통 프로젝트
좀 더 실용적인 쪽으로는 퇴비통 만들기 프로젝트가 거의 완성 단계입니다.
예상보다 조금 오래 걸렸지만, 이제 거의 마무리 단계예요.
또 정원 프로젝트 과정도 전부 정리해야 해서 사진과 기록들을 조금씩 모으는 중입니다.
조만간 블로그에 업데이트할 수 있을 것 같아요.
아기와 함께하는 일상
물론, 아기가 생기면 모든 일이 두 배로 오래 걸린다는 건 진리죠.
사진을 찍으려 하면 기저귀 비상사태, 글을 쓰려 하면 낮잠 파업… 그래도 너무 사랑스러워서 다 괜찮아요.
그리고, 이건 그냥 보여드려야겠어요 — 블루베리를 먹고 있는 우리 아기 사진.
무섭고 웃기고… 둘 다 동시에입니다. 😂
Busy, Busy, Busy (But Still Creating)
I’ve been extremely busy lately — the kind of busy where days blur together — but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on things behind the scenes. In fact, I’ve got a handful of projects quietly taking shape in the background.
Mapping Out the Treasure Hunt
One of the bigger things I’ve been working on is the puzzle project featured on the front page of my website. I’ve started developing the promotional materials and even mapping everything out.
I also decided to change the name from Alternative Reality Game to simply Treasure Hunt. It feels easier to explain to people, and it fits the tone of the project a lot better. Plus, who doesn’t love a good treasure hunt?
Painting With Eden
I haven’t posted much art recently, but I did finish a really fun piece with my nephew, Eden. It started out as a finger painting — just a spontaneous mess of color — and somehow evolved naturally into a garden scene. Pretty fitting, considering his name. 🌱
I actually documented the process as I went, from the first finger smudge to the finished piece. I’ll be posting that later today.
Compost Bin Progress
On the more practical side, I’m almost done with my compost bin project. It’s taken a bit longer than expected (as most things do), but it’s coming together nicely.
I also still need to document everything I’ve done for the garden project — I’ve been slowly collecting photos and notes — and once that’s organized, I’ll be posting those updates soon, too.
Life With a New Baby
Of course, everything takes twice as long when there’s a new baby in the house. You get ready to take photos or edit a post, and suddenly there’s a diaper emergency or an unexpected nap strike.
Still, she makes it all worthwhile — and she’s already making her mark on my projects in her own chaotic little way.
Also… here’s a photo of her eating blueberries. It’s both terrifying and hilarious at the same time.
